Beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 30, please join us for Norwood Family Yoga Night with Ms. Bonnie. For all levels of yoga expertise - beginners are greatly encouraged to attend - the class will include the basics of yoga in a playful and fun family-style practice. The class will end with a meditation, followed by a mindfulness activity. The Tuesday evening classes run from 6:00-7:15 pm for 5 sessions: 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/27 and 3/5. The Providence Bruins and Sargent Rehabilitation Center have joined forces to honor local teachers who consistently demonstrate extraordinary dedication and commitment to their schools and students through the Educators in the Spotlight program.
I am delighted to let you know that Kristen Pina, a Special Educator at Norwood Elementary School, has been nominated for this esteemed recognition.
Kristen is truly exceptional in her role at Norwood Elementary. Her commitment, dedication, and natural leadership skills create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Her innate ability to personalize learning experiences ensures that each student in her classroom thrives by receiving tailored instructional approaches that address their diverse needs.

Reminder that Tuesday, January 23rd is a Professional Development Day for teachers. No school for students, no DL on that day.


Any student that would like to sell an additional box ( while available) needs to have a note signed by their parent/guardian requesting an additional box. The funds for the original box must be returned prior to getting a new box.

Parents/Guardians - please make sure to fill out and return the Bus forms. Your student will take a bus if they go on a field trip even if they don't take it to and from school daily.

The report card is yours to keep.
The envelope needs to be signed, dated and returned to school as soon as possible please.


Kindergarten Registration for the 2024-2025 school year will open on Tuesday, January 16th.
24-25 Kindergarten students to be born on or before Sept 1, 2019 - NO exceptions.
