I hope everyone is having a great start to thier summer! Congratulations to all our Norwood Graduates! Norwood School finished strong at the end of the year scoring within the top schools in WPS. Our data showed 125% Typical Growth in Math and 133% Typical Growth in Reading!

Dear parents and Guardians ,
If your child receives daily and or emergency medication at school, tomorrow is the day to pick up the medication. The school nurse will be available throughout the day to return these medications to you. At this time all paperwork required by the school for medication administration for Fall of 2023 has been sent home in your child's backpack. The paperwork and medication consent policy is also available online on the Warwick Public School website for any additional copies needed.

Today at Norwood, we conducted a fire drill that took place during lunch for second and third grades, and recess for fourth grade. The purpose of drilling during lunch and recess is to practice and prepare for an emergency taking place while students are outside of their classroom environment. It is important for students to remember that the same expected behavior is necessary whether they are at lunch or in their rooms in order to maintain a strong level of safety and security at Norwood. This means that students calmly walk to the nearest exit and refrain from any talking. Please know that your children may want to reflect on today’s drill or have questions. Don’t hesitate to contact us for any way we can support those conversations.
